Lunaria Annua Series: No1. Limited Edition 1/250

I first encountered these Honesty seed pods at a fellow artist friend's studio. I was captivated by them. Again recently I had a friend who was collecting them and bagging them up in groups. They were iridescent and the simplicity of their shapes, each one slightly different, had my attention. I was surprised to discover they are relatives of the broccoli family, broccoli being one of my favourite foods. I love these pods in so many ways!
