The Big Dry - Myrniong Series: No5. Limited Edition 1/250

The Big Dry series came about in drought. As I drove home to the country from my city job, I noticed how obvious the lack of water was to the landscape. While working in the city you could almost not notice what was happening. But out in the landscape, the story is clear and far-reaching. It was devastating to see white and brown dryness as far as the eye could see, with no end in sight. I tried to find beauty in the repetitive patterns of it, although there was a certain heart ache that went along with the shoot.
